- Message from the Professor
- In the 16th century, academic genres were not yet established, and scholars would call for the need for mixing and separating between disciplines, provoking a variety of debates. What did these "mixtures" or " divisions" mean? The research focuses on the way scholars of the time viewed "scholarship".

- Message from the Professor
- The program's research topic is the spirituality and humor found in contemporary French writers, with a particular focus on Marguerite Duras and Romain Gary. By broadening the scope of its research to include Japanese literature such as Akutagawa and Quebec novels such as the works of Ducharme, the program seeks to explore literary approaches to the underlying issues that pervade our contemporary world. By exposing ourselves to a diverse variety of literature of all ages and countries, we must aspire to identify universal values that transcend cultural differences.
